Balancing School, Business, and Mental Health: My Journey with Cobra Strike Productions Hello, everyone! I’m Jem Freeman, a proud veteran, aspiring social worker, and the founder of Cobra Strike Productions. Today, I want to share a bit about my journey, which is not just about building a business but also about creating a life of purpose, balance, and resilience. Pursuing My Passion for Social Work I recently embarked on an exciting new chapter in my life—I’ve started attending West Chester University, where I’m pursuing a degree in Social Work. As a disabled veteran, I’ve experienced firsthand the unique challenges that many of us face after leaving the service. That’s why I’ve chosen to dedicate my future career to helping other veterans navigate the complexities of life after the military. I believe that through social work, I can make a real difference in the lives of those who have served our country. Building Cobra Strike Productions While focusing on my studies, I’m also putting time and energy into building my business, Cobra Strike Productions. This company is more than just a business to me; it’s a platform where I can share my stories, experiences, and the books I’ve published on Amazon. I’ve been working hard to set up the website, which will be the central hub for all things Cobra Strike. From selling my books to offering insights and resources for veterans and their families, this website will reflect my journey and mission. Researching Grants for Growth Starting a business from the ground up is no easy task, especially when funds are limited. That’s why I’m dedicating time to researching grants and other financial resources that can help Cobra Strike Productions grow. My goal is to secure the necessary support to expand the business, reach a wider audience, and continue sharing the stories that matter most to me. Managing My Mental Health One of the most important aspects of my journey has been managing my mental health. As a veteran with PTSD, I know how crucial it is to prioritize mental well-being. I’ve been working closely with Veterans Affairs, and I’m pleased to say that I’m managing my mental health care well. This balance allows me to excel in school, build my business, and maintain a positive outlook on life. Doing Well in School Balancing school, a business, and mental health care might sound overwhelming, but I’m proud to say that I’m doing really well in my classes. West Chester University has been an incredible environment for me to learn, grow, and connect with others who share my passion for social work. The skills and knowledge I’m gaining in my studies are not only preparing me for my future career but are also helping me approach my business with a fresh perspective. Looking Ahead As I continue on this journey, I’m excited about the future. I’m committed to expanding Cobra Strike Productions, completing my degree, and ultimately using my experiences to help other veterans lead fulfilling lives. This is just the beginning, and I’m grateful for the support of everyone who’s been with me along the way. Thank you for being part of this journey. Stay tuned for more updates on Cobra Strike Productions, my progress in school, and my ongoing efforts to support veterans through social work. Until next time, Jem Freeman Founder, Cobra Strike Productions Author and Advocate
